An "OPEN-TO-THE-PUBLIC" weekend muskie-fishing event - "The Wishmaster Memorial 2009" - is being held in honour of Rolf Balansiak on Oct 23rd, 24th, 25th 2009 on the Pickeral River. On behalf of the Johnson and Balansiak families, we would like to express our sincerest appreciation for the overwhelming support and condolences we have received for the loss of our beloved family man, friend and Muskie Fisherman.
Rolf would have been overwhelmed by the out-pouring of family and friends, not only in Canada, but also the United States.
Special thanks goes out to those in the fishing community. You have reminded us of Rolfs' true passion and artistic ability to create a legacy that will be remembered and respected for years to come. He truly was a one-of-a-kind bait maker, whose pursuit for perfection lead him to create Wishmaster Big Baits.
